Do NOT use puppy pads!! This encourages the habit of your dog toileting inside the house and normalises this habit!
It’s just a numbers game!! The puppy will toilet ‘X’ amount of times per day.. make sure they’re OUTSIDE when they need to go!
Key moments.. this will help aid the above point. When the puppy wakes up, then the puppy has food or water, after the puppy has been highly aroused and just before they’re about to settle, before going in the crate, immediately when coming out of the crate etc etc these are all obvious key moments when your puppy is likely to need to toilet!
On the hour every hour (when you’re home) this helps catch any accidents between key moments!
Routine. Routine is key! Routinely giving the opportunities during the mentioned key times will make it so easy for your puppy to become toilet trained fast!
